Review : Uriyadi (2016)

A 90 mins of deviationless story takes on some casteists' poisonous political motives using the lives and events of abnormal daredevil college students.
..
From the very first second, was in the dilemma to continue watching this movie as it is an A certified. No reviews which i have seen said anything about the same which later made me to write this.
..
Yes, Adults Only certified for the reason of one and only violence but wait there are still some mega serials which we knew still running by the only sake of family audiences, carries far worst violence than this movie. Nope?
..
Did you notice? People eager to read some special coverages in Junior Vikatan and Nakkeeran articles. Some articles i referred here were cold blooded which may gives shock to readers but anyhow they enjoyed it for the means of thrill only. So as this movie.
If you enjoy movies of Robert Rodriguez, Sin City etc, you may take a ride on this movie too. I love those kind of peculiar movies.
..
Being a short lengthed like hollywoods, this movie had never gone slipped from the plot it has taken. Characters were not many but unrecognizable faces except villain and villain's leader. Even with those 4 students, only the better looking guy and shorty looked unique which i couldnt even knew their name. Felt like watching korean movie casts. Lol. May ignore this issue since a very low budget movie. That loosu character was a surprise element which gains story's pace.
..
The story is a very much situation sensitive as we may notice that a man being moderator who was keeping things good between 4 students and their rivals during the initial stage and the same moderator behaves differently becoming a villain based on the bottleneck situation at the climax. Nice character arc.
..
Editing gives a refreshing flavour. You may witness some shots of scenes very ahead as a gist, skipping before the timeline. Audience feel the confusion when it happens and it will be smartly followed by unfolding immediately at the end of the respective scenes. To see editing overall, crispy enough to have necessary portrayal required and as far as i know, not even single frame was wasted or left a loose.
..
Regarding screenplay, usually only science fiction movies will have scenes with a guy visualizes  the future  projections. Here it is effectively used here as villain's thoughts about outcome of his climax plan rather than dialogue delivery of likely two pages with a content "what-am-going-to-do-theriyuma?". Effectively visualized.
..
No cliched romances were made. All the time, people either consumes alcohol, vomits or fights and sometimes kills which surely will give nauseating experience to audience. Director wouldve avoided but that doesnt even matter when he struck the root chord of poisonous casteism prevails besides Thandhai Periyar's influence in the current soceity. Caste discrimination system is the most nauseating one la?
..
Here is where Suseendran and Murugadoss succeeds i think. They balances story's violence content and family audience's content by transitioning smooth from latter content to former one.
..
I need to thank two of my facebook friends which i have never met, Mr.Ajayan Bala and Mr. Shashank Ravi for their reviews which has some missing parts that i felt to fill those. I agree to their points and both of their reviews which stood opposite to each other. ;)
..
In the beginning, started to feel like am watching a bit amateurish outcome but later found it as wrong and some scenes were gripping except those nauseating activities.
..
There are some areas need to be reviewed other than the story to save it against spoilers. If you feel something refresing or interesting, or points of dislikes please share which will be very useful in understanding this underrated movie. Comments are cold bloodedly or light heartedly welcome. Hehehe. ;)
